At the bottom of this commentary is mostly repeated repeated commentary from the "what Mist wound up doing" reference. It has spoilers for a 2019 EGSNP storyline that is "sort of" canon.
The following three references are all in a row in the archives, but each has a different point, so I'm including all three for convenience.
- What Mist thought he was going to do
- What Mist wound up doing
- The "do I know you anomaly"
The anomaly coming up later:
- Justin explaining the "do I know you anomaly" to Hope
- Jay experiencing the anomaly when she first sees Susan
- Susan experiencing the same thing when she meets Jay
WHAT A CLIFFHANGER! What will Grace see?!
"...Po?"
SSSHHH!
Anyway, I'm proud of how Bishop—or someone she works with—found out a unicorn might have been involved in some way before Grace brought it up. It doesn't involve magic or anything convoluted. It's just something they very reasonably would have done that gave them a clue.
A clue that was mostly useless on its own, but still! Clues are often like that.
Wait... Characters withholding information is an option?!
I'm so used to Edward being an endless barrel of exposition that I almost forgot Bishop didn't have to share her own unicorn findings. I legitimately had to remind myself that they weren't really "on the case" together. She had no reason to tell them about it, or to acknowledge any significance to what Grace had said.
Which is good, because them not discussing that further speeds things along a bit! Prior to giving myself that reminder, the last two panels would've been part of the next page.
Also, I like panel three.
Poor Vladia
I don't like putting characters behind text like Vladia was in panel two, but given the space available, I figured Vladia would be visible. I also didn't want to go stylistic with a minimalist background given the door mirror, so... Sorry about that, Vladia.

Spoilers for a 2019 EGSNP storyline below
The EGSNP storyline (Parable) is only SORT OF canon, because the choice to make it canon relevant are late, so there's potential fourth wall nonsense that is certainly not canon.
NONE of it is required reading, but the EGSNP storyline is called Parable? It started out as a game parody, became a dream, and then there was a unicorn. That unicorn was Mist.
One way to explain away any fourth wall break nonsense is the presence of Tensaided, as it could simply be a side effect of his personality, and people playing things up for a non-existent audience. That said, I consider it safest to stick with the description of "sort of" canon.
